Mode of Action

Fipronil is a phenylpyrazole Insecticide with a wide range of insecticides. It is mainly stomach toxic to pests, and has both contact and certain internal absorption effects. Its mechanism of action is to block insects γ- Aminobutyric acid controls chloride metabolism, so it has high insecticidal activity against important pests such as aphids, leafhoppers, planthoppers, lepidoptera larvae, flies and coleoptera, and is harmless to crops.

Use

Fipronil is a broad-spectrum insecticide with high activity and wide application range. It can be used in rice, cotton, vegetables, soybeans, rape, tobacco, potatoes, tea, sorghum, corn, fruit trees, forests, public health, animal husbandry, etc. to prevent and control rice borers, brown planthopper, rice weevil, cotton bollworm, slime moth, diamondback moth, cabbage
caterpillar, cabbage armyworm, beetle, root cutting worm, bulb nematode, caterpillar, fruit tree mosquito, wheat aphid, coccidia Trichomonas, etc.

Toxicology

The acute oral LD50 of rats is 100mg/kg, and the acute dermal LD50 of rats is more than 2000mg/kg. The acute inhalation LC50 of rats was 0.682mg/L. The Am II test was negative and had no teratogenic effect. The LC50 of carp is 0.34mg/L (96h), and the LD50 of wild duck is ＞ 2150mg/kg.
